Hi! I’m your personal trainer Derrick!
I started Crossfit in 2011, as a means to gain fitness and mental toughness. Very quickly it spurred a desire for knowledge and a passion to share it with others. Over the last 9 years, I’ve learned so much personally and as a coach. I thank everyone along the way who provided opportunities for me to coach and the athletes who without a doubt helped me develop as a coach. To me, coaching Crossfit is more than a workout, a methodology, or a gym. For me, it is an opportunity to listen, learn, lead, motivate, create, form strong bonds, and help others achieve their personal goals safely. Troy Crossfit is a place for me to share my passion for people and fitness. It is an environment where my son Troy can grow up being exposed to positivity, hard work, and great relationships.
